Hello! My son is going into 4th grade this year and he is very interested in Science and Math. I'd love to get him involved in STEM or MESA, but I don't know where to look. Any suggestions on where he could get involved after school or if the School District has clubs he could join?
We recently learned of an announcement by Washington state schools to teach gender fluidity and identity at the elementary school level (beginning with kindergarten). As parents we have concerns about this addition to the curriculum. If you are planning to implement it this coming school year, we would like to know the best way to express our concerns and ask questions. Further, will there be an "opt out" provision for the curriculum as there is for sex education? Thank you.
My son is in K and attends Indian Trail Elementary and I was wondering
if there are any programs where he can start learning a second language
like Spanish? I've seen some other elementary schools in the district
provide after school classes or a 6 week class. Do you know of anything
or any resources?
